THE DARK ONE

This is The Dark One. DO NOT LET HIS HUMBLE APPEARANCE FOOL YOU! HE has consumed endless moons, suns, worlds, realms, galaxies. He has drunk seas of unknown heights and depths in one gulp. He has been here since the beginning, but he will be the end. He has one purpose: to consume, endlessly, until the end of time when Seam is rent from Seam and each Thread of the Universe is pulled slowly apart one at a time, an age which will span eons and eons, and even then he will be the one destroying it all. He hails to no king, and does not hail even to himself, only to his undying and unending lust to consume. There are those who might worship him, but that will not save them, for their prayers and supplications are so minuscule and insignificant that they do not reach his ears. He was not the beginning, but he is a beginning, and he will not be the end, but one of many. For there are no beginnings and there are no ends for him, there is only a void that must be filled.
